Motion Picture Purgatory: METAL MESSIAH (1978)

The GATE director Tibor Takács’ rarely seen 1978 glam rock opera METAL MESSIAH is one of those obscure Canadian films still desperately seeking an audience, despite its obvious appeal to both film and music fans. That’s why we’re pleased to be co-presenting a special screening of the film this year at Montreal’s Film Pop festival on Friday September 27.
